biopsy done

yesterday i went to the hospital.  although the hospital is a little old, the unit i went to was quite and cool. really peaceful.  i had the biopsy done, bit of a bruise developed, yet thats how my skin reacts, due to the eds.  made another appointment for the results next thursday.

im getting by, not thinking about things.  my way of coping.

stanmore is only two or so weeks away.  i shall be fine.  im hoping anyway.

have some pictures to post in the next few days. x

I think it takes ages em so you are right to put it out of your mind.
Wishing you every luck at Stanmore. Daughter has rejected it as she is only 21 and does not feel happy at the prospect of it all. Although I do know they have young EDSers there. She has taken the option of seeing some swanky pain management consultant in London. Loads going on for her right now personal medical stuff which I shant talk of here. One of the things she is struggling with is gastroparesis (sp).
She has a young friend who went to Stanmore recently. Who found the pain management side helpful. I would suggest you take some therapeutic stitching to do or similar as I think in the down time you would maybe find that a comfort. In the meantime em, take care.xx

hey achelois

i phoned stanmore yesterday to ask whether i could stay on the sunday night, due to the nightmare of getting across london at that time of the morning. they have had a flood on the rehab ward, so i have to call a week before i go to see if im still going.

hope you daughter gets the help she needs with this dreadful illness. i know what you mean with the non-working stomach. ive had some flare ups since i was 9 years old, they are just awful. usually will last three months at there worse, all the time in bed.

i think i might take some knitting to stanmore. maybe in the quieter times i will be able to knit some socks to pass the time, that is if my joints are up to it!!!

hope your doing ok achelois. x
