spoke to soon.....

cheerful, whats cheerful!!!!

rosie has a cold. she has been sneezing, drippy nose, twice shes had a a full body cough, she would make this horrendous noise and stay deadly still. when on monday after a day of not eating, she brought up some luminous bile we took her too the vets. she had a temperature, plus theres a cough going around in the local dog world. so a course of antibiotics she is taking. today rosie seems a little perky, thank goodness.

then comes me. yesterday i received a letter asking me to attend an chest x-ray at the local hospital, so the time being 3.30pm and the clinic shutting at 4.30pm i decided to chance it and go then, thinking that there wouldnt be a queue. i was right straight in and out. the doc is seeing whether i have emphysema, a little stunned i thought, whatever next.

Hi Em,

Sorry to read you are still having a bad time of it. I do wish one of these doctors would sit down and talk things through with you regardless of what time of day it is. You must be left feeling a bit bewildered by the whole thing. Hope they give you some good news soon.

All the best

(((hugs))) to you both! I'm never sure what's worse - doctors doing nothing about how you are feeling, or doctors doing something about it and you having to go off to hospitals etc.

Still, try to focus on the good things as much as you can, I always find it helps. I'm off for a nice long bath now!

hi nechtan

my first neuro is the doc that i see local, he sends me for tests. then the second neuro at kings also sends me for test. they do at times keep me informed! i want some good news too.xx

hi foggy

thats true, a few years ago it was no tests, theres nothing wrong, then when i was diagnosed with ehlers danlos and pots, it was test, test, test. docs do like a good test!!! hope you had a long soak. xx

hi suzie

certainly brought back memories. i got the emma fabric out and was going to make a bag, however i didnt want to cut into the material! mines a bit faded now. i bought it around 1988 to use as a table cloth in my bedroom. i was interested in fabric as a teen, and would buy the patchwork squares from laura ashley, i made my first quilt which i still have a the age of 15. xxx
