wishful thinking......

one of my past needleworks.

morden hall is being revamped. the old stable yard has been awarded a lottery grant. by next summer there will be 10 units available for rent. one will be a small cafe run by the national trust, the rest who knows. next to the cowshed there a few units already let, one to an artist, card maker, and a childrens doll maker. all fit into the surroundings.

i let my mind wander, perhaps a little to far. i may do some finding out. i would love to run a haberdashers. there arent many around. ive seen a few excellent examples on the net, really with-it types, especially in new york. would be great to run classes, you see zips, buttons, cotton, patchwork, tapestry, making things have really helped me, from such a young age too. one area in life that im so passionate about. anyway what with the ehlers,p.o.t.s anxiety, maybe its a pie in the sky type idea.

Oh em, i wish it weren't wishful thinking. Perhaps achievable from a very very special comfy chair with runners to do all the physical stuff. I think you would be so so good at this. Never give up on your dreams. Perhaps you could get money from the Princes Trust or similar so that you could do it with appropriate support. It sounds a wonderful location/environment.

Em listen to Achelois. Sometimes these opportunities pop up and we give up before we even try. Give yourself permission to dream.

hi achelois

morden hall is very pretty, lovely old builidings. 50s film stars would stay/visit, because its so close to central london yet feels like you in the countryside. x

hi michelle

i wish i could use my brain more effectively. more than one thing at a time and im useless, even stringing words together somedays can be a big deal. i certainly will use my imagination on this one.x great idea by the way on your blog today.

Hi Em, loved your dream. I can imagine you there too. Keep that dream in mind missy, water it, nurture it, it may blossom one day if you stick with it!
